How do I cancel my account?
Given Flaunt a good go and decided it’s not for you? No worries! Just head to your account settings page and click ‘delete my account’. We’ll then delete it for you. Be warned, once it’s gone you won’t be able to bring back your screenshots and clients whom you have send reports to will no longer have access to them.
How do I add a new client?
To add a new client just click "clients > new client" from your Flaunt dashboard.
Which browsers are supported?
You can use Flaunt to create and view reports on virtually any web browser.
If you use Chrome, you’ll also be able use our Flaunt Chrome extension to add screenshots (which we affectionately refer to as flauntlets). You can upload screenshots as flauntlets with or without the Chrome extension but we recommend using it if you can.
Your clients will be able to view their reports using Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and most other popular browsers and on mobile.
Why does nothing happen when I click the extension button in my browser?
Try refreshing the page and trying again. If it still doesn't work, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll have a look!
Is Flaunt for me?
Flaunt is the perfect tool for people who want to compose beautiful reports for their clients or managers. If you find yourself rooting around for screenshots or spending hours formatting PowerPoint presentations every month, give Flaunt a try and you won’t look back.
Flaunt is used by social media, PR and marketing agencies all over the world, as well as in-house marketers and people who create reports.
How do I export my reports as PDF documents?
If you need to download your report for offline viewing, you can save your report as a PDF with these instructions:
Open the report using the client link in your web browser. Then go to file < print < settings < then change the margins to maximum. You can then save it as a PDF.
Remember, however, that Flaunt was designed for clients to view reports in a web browser so they look much better online. Clients have the ability to zoom in on your flauntlets and you can continue to make changes to the report after you’ve sent it.
Is there a maximum length for reports?
No - make them as long as you like! You can keep adding sections, text, stats and flauntlets to your heart’s content.
Can I add more users to my account? Do they cost extra?
You can add as many users to your Flaunt account as you like - you are only charged on a per client basis so each additional user is free. To add a new user, simply go to ‘settings’ and ‘team’ from your Flaunt dashboard, then add the email addresses of the users you’d like to work with.
How do I remove a client from my dashboard?
If you’d like to remove a client from your Flaunt account, for any reason, simply email us at email@example.com and let us know your account name and the client you would like to remove.
This helps us ensure you are billed for the correct amount and stop you or any of your account users accidentally deleting a client and all of their data! Once a client is deleted, the flauntlets and reports are gone forever.
How do I upload screenshots without using the Chrome extension?
When viewing the client you would like to upload a screenshot for, go to the ‘flauntlets’ tab and select ‘upload screenshot’. You will then see all of the functions of adding a flauntlet including the ability to add a comment, tags and an awesomeness rating.
This screenshot is then added to your dashboard like any other flauntlet, which is why you do not need to use a Chrome browser to use Flaunt.
How does Flaunt auto-create reports?
The fastest way to make a great looking report is to let Flaunt automatically create one. If you have collected all of your flauntlets, added comments, tags and given them an ‘awesomeness’ rating, your report will be compiled in a logical and appealing way.
If required, you can still edit the entire report if required, including adding stats, copy and even entire new sections.
Can I make reports manually?
When choosing to create a report in the reporting section of a specific client, you can choose between automatically or manually creating a report.
If you prefer a more methodical approach and want a little more control, we recommend building your Flaunt reports manually - it still beats dragging, dropping and formatting on PowerPoint!
You'll build the report one step at a time with total control over the flow and format. It also means you can write the copy first, decide which images you require and then collect your evidence.
Can I edit a report after publishing it?
It is possible to edit the report after creating and publishing it. You can add or delete individual flauntlets, content blocks and whole sections. It is also possible to manually insert your most impressive stats, add content blogs, flauntlets 1, 2 or 3 across, and other sections.
While I am adding flauntlets, can I see how they will be positioned in the report?
After you click ‘create report’, all of the flauntlets taken throughout the month will be organised into a beautiful report, with the highest Awesomeness Meter rated flauntlets showing as highlights on top.
What does the Awesomeness Meter do?
Your rating is used by Flaunt to display the most awesome flauntlets prominently in the auto-generated report. The flauntlets with highest rating will appear in the highlight section at the top of your report.
When adding flauntlets, what are the tags for?
You can search for a specific tag in your dashboard and you will see all flauntlets with this tag. You might like to use this to group specific campaigns or flauntlets that are part of the same theme.
What is the purpose of the social media icons on the flauntlet screen?
When saving a flauntlet relating to one of the main social media platforms, you can select the respective platform as a way to automatically group your flauntlets.
If the flauntlet relates to a different platform, then simply don’t select any. In this case, the flauntlet is added to the ‘other’ section in the report, or a section that you can manually add when creating your report.
Can I edit flauntlets after saving?
Once a flauntlet is saved, you can find it back in the ‘flauntlet’ section in your client dashboard. When clicking ‘edit details’ it is possible to change the captured area of the screen, the description, social media platform, tag and Awesomeness Meter rating.
How do I customise a report?
In your Flaunt dashboard, select a client, then go to ‘settings’. You can then add a logo, header image and two different colors to customise this client’s reports to match their brand.
How do I delete elements from a report?
When hovering over an element, a bin icon will appear in the top right corner. Clicking this will delete individual flauntlets, whole content blocks or entire sections.
How do I send the report to my client?
After publishing a report, an automatically-generated link will appear, which you can share with your client. This link will also be under the ‘reports’ section.
Your client will be able to enlarge flauntlets by clicking on them.
What if my question is not answered here?
